Track 17

Nanotechnology in Water Treatment

Nanotechnology can be used Water purification by exploits nanoscopic materials such as carbon nanotubes and alumina fibers for nanofiltration. For instance, carbon nanotube membranes can eliminate almost all kinds of water toxins including turbidity, oil, bacteria, viruses and living contaminant. Nano membranes are used with the determination of relaxing the water and removal of contaminants such as physical, biological and chemical contaminants.
